Script Readings with Casting Directors
Every month our online Script Reading sessions with Casting Directors are designed to give actors the opportunity to work on text, collaborate creatively, and be seen in a relaxed, authentic environment by Casting Directors working at the heart of film and television. Script Readings are open to all professional actors!
These sessions combine the energy and playfulness of a script reading with the insight and visibility of a Casting Director workshop, creating a format that is both creatively fulfilling and professionally valuable.
Working from carefully selected scenes, short plays, TV scripts, or film material, actors are cast into scenes and work together live in breakout rooms, while an invited Casting Director circulates through the rooms observing the work. The session concludes with a group discussion and Q&A, often including reflections on the scenes, the casting process, and what makes performances truly connect on screen.
We believe the strongest careers are built through a combination of craft, consistency, connection, and community - and Script Readings with Casting Directors sit beautifully at the intersection of all four.

Unlike a formal audition or polished self-tape, these sessions allow Casting Directors to observe how you naturally work, collaborate, listen, respond to direction, and engage with text. It’s an opportunity for them to get to know you as an actor in a more human and memorable way.

Which Casting Directors?
Every month, we invite respected Casting Directors working across TV, Film and Theatre. Previous guest Casting Directors at our Industry Expert Sessions include Aisha Bywaters, Seth Mason, Heather Basten, Rachel Sheridan, Catriona Dickie, Elisa Musson, Ben Cogan, Jeremy Zimmerman.
When?
Last Wednesday of every month, 6pm-7pm (UK Time), Zoom.
Actors can attend either as:
